This Privacy Policy explains how incobol (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles data for the Smart XPath Finder & Extractor browser extension (the “Extension”). The Extension helps users identify, test, and extract content from webpages using XPath expressions.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. All XPath evaluation and highlighting occur entirely within your browser. No page content or extracted data is sent to external servers.
activeTab — Grants temporary access to the current tab only when the user activates the extension, enabling XPath evaluation and highlighting within that page.scripting — Injects the UI and logic needed for XPath evaluation into the active page after user action.host_permissions — Allows the extension to function on specific pages where the user chooses to run XPath queries. It never runs automatically on other sites.When active, the extension reads the page DOM to evaluate XPath queries and extract content such as text, links, or image URLs. All results remain local and visible only to the user. Nothing is uploaded or shared externally.
The extension does not integrate any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No third-party scripts that collect data are embedded.
Because we do not collect or transmit data, there is no data retention. All information processed by the extension exists only during the active browser session.
